The unit does what it is required except for one complaint. The government may mandate that a device must start in economy mode but if a customer wants to change the settings the device should retain the customer settings. Allow an override. This unit is not running 24x7x365 and having the customer change settings every time it is turned on is a unnecessary burden.

Cools down the space much better than the last unit, the app and integration with Alexa is a big plus.

I bought my Frigidaire 18,000 BTU to replace a Sears 18,000 BTU window air condtioner.The Fridigaire has many new features such as a remote control and wi-fi.I can set the AC to a cooling temperature and the AC unti cools the room to that temperature then shuts off until more cooling is needed.

Replace older Frigidaire 25,000 BTU AC with this more energy star efficient 18,000 model. Absolutely love it especially with the WIFI app. Weather heat warnings are being issued now (June / July) and I just turn my AC on remotely and set temp and it will cool shop down to reasonable temp so my paints, electronics, and camera network equipment are not affected by extreme heat. I can also set a task in the app for a timer. I wish it had connectivity with Apple Homekit.
