Purchased from Wayfair after seeing similar Frigidaire models in Consumer Reports with excellent ratings. When my A/C arrived it was not the same model and the Energy rating was fairly poor, even though it is an Energy Star product. This just doesn't compute! Too many Model Numbers for consumers to try and track.

I replaced my 12,000 BTU Frigidaire air conditioner with this new 10,000 BTU Frigidaire air conditioner. My 12,000 was much better and much quieter than this new 10,000 btu ac. I only got rid of the 12,000 because it stayed on after shutting it off something electrical wish I kept it.

I def wouldn’t call this a “quiet” AC and whatever is going on at home, this will be the loudest thing in the room. So much so that you’ll have to turn the volume up on everything else, and don’t even pretend you’ll be able to sleep in the same room with the unit going.

Very nice air conditioner. Cools the entire first floor. Replaced one that was 10 years old.
