I am impressed with the cooling capability. My house is about 1700 square ft & this 25,000 BTU window AC cools almost my entire house. I did need to add additional support as the included supports were not compatible with my window frame.

I bought this because the Frigidaire in the space quit working. I had to get one same size to fit in the allotted space and thank goodness it did fit. I only used it one time this summer but hopefully it will last for many more summers.

We bought our first Frigidaire about 8 years ago for a very large “man cave” room. Reviewer called this 25,000 BTU unit a snowball thrower. So we decided to purchase. It is very efficient, throws a lot of cold air and cools a large area, actually almost 3-4 rooms. It lasted 8 years and had to replace it. It would have lasted longer if we had taken better care. We installed an awning for weather protection after about 3-4 years, I highly recommend an awning to extend the unit life!!
