Unit does not dehumidify.

One of the reasons I purchased this model is that It has a 8 pint per hour rating for dehumidification. This unit is not dehumidifying. The dehumidifier that I need to use now is in the same room as the A/C unit. I need to empty the dehumidifier twice a day while not 1 drop of water is draining from the A/C unit. A technician will be here July 29th from Abt to see what the problem is.

The unit works as advertised. One word of caution, do not precut the location before you actually have the unit in front of you. Especially if it's a wall mount. I found the instructions to be adequate, but disjointed. Overall operation of the unit is outstanding.

It cools very well, the fan doesn't blow as well as my old window unit, I still am happy with it.

Such an amazing product. Only problem is that we did not know at first that, because it is so powerful, it requires a 20 amp electrical connection. Absolute power, without being too loud. And if you just want airflow, it’s fan function is awesome!
