First induction stovetop and I love it. I am disappointed with how easily the stovetop scratches. Also, on a couple of occasions, I had to shut off power because the stovetop was having errors

I purchased this cooktop after discovering the limitations of a similar induction cooktop from Electrolux that had a maximim burner size of 8". This cooktop works much better for larger pans (11" and 9" larger burners) and also has a more intuitive control interface and seems a bit quieter. The one thing I wish was different was the arrangement of where the cooking surfaces are, especially the 9" magnet at the back left. Having both of the smallest cooking areas right at the front and the two larger at the back can create a more awkward cooking dynamic. I wish the 9" was closer to the front with the other small magnet at the back.

I just bought this induction stovetop to replace the electric stovetop that we have had in our house for over 20 years. I really wanted to convert to gas but the expense to do that was too high. So I began researching induction! I'm so happy with the Bosch brand and am very impressed with what I've experienced so far while cooking on my new cooktop! And, to me, this was a much better choice than converting!! YAY!!

The cooktop is amazing, with quick temperature changes and safety of the cookware heating, not the cooktop surface. temperature is turned off. Induction ready cookware is required, so may need to invest in new cookware. Found that several of our stainless pans work. So if looking for an improvement over the standard electric cooktop, Bosch Induction is the answer.

Switched from electric cooktop to induction. I was skeptical initially with induction, so went and bought a standalone portable induction cooktop to get a feel for it. The precision controls make a huge difference. Went with Bosch based on reviews and am quite happy with it. The controls are programmable, the model I bought is WiFi enabled, so it let's me control some basic stuff and notifies me. One can set limits on power levels and shut off timers (cook for 12 minutes at level 3 and turn off), very useful when you leave something to slow cook and need not be around. Needs a bit of patience to get the right levels but after that it is a breeze. For the curious, it also tells how much power was consumed for each session.
