My Amana is a thoroughly efficient machine. The dishes sparkle, it's easy to load and unload and best of all it's whisper quiet. I'd recommend anyone to buy it.

I received this dishwasher as a Christmas gift from my family. For the most part I am very satisfied. It is very quiet and cleans well. I love the silverware basket with the separation for knives, spoons forks etc. My one main objection is the foul odor that comes from it. There are just the two of us and I don't run my dishwasher every day. It seems like as soon as I load a few dishes into it the foul odor is present. I always rinse my dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. The only solution I have found is to leave the door ajar when not in use. This is not always convenient.
