No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are only good if you plan on doing a low heat all day bbq thing. They go forever at around 200F. Not much good if you plan a afternoon bbq and expect things in a 2 hour time frame. I doubt that i will rebuy unless im preparing to do some pork for pulled pork.
