I've had this unit for years and it's worked flawlessly through several hot summers. The noise level isn't bad at all and if you set the temperature too low it'll freeze your butt off. I'd buy another one in a minute if I needed to. Highly recommended!

I thought I would never find an air conditioner to fit in my sliding window let alone one which had so many features. Since it was going in a bedroom window, the fact that it is the most quiet-running unit I have ever encountered is a plus! I never have to turn it off or on during the warmer months; I just set it to the temperature I want the room to be and it always is...

We bought two of these for bedrooms with windows that open side to side. Installation was complicated but completely manageable for anyone with average or better home maintenance skills.Looks nice for a window unit. Powerful cooling, not terribly loud.

Once installed, easy to operate. Instructions were simple and clear and, working in a hot day in a second story apartment made the quick cooling really appreciated.
