I Cant get a technician to show up when scheduled to fix my ac thats under warranty. 45+ days now Im spending the sunmmer with a $600 broken AC.

I bought this ac last year and installed it this year. Ran for 2 months and the fan motor went out. I have it under warranty and has been 45 days now and I cant get the tech to show up and replace the motor. Out of the 8 appointments, the tech has showed up at two of them. He says " I CANT FIX THIS " and was here for 5 min. I have missed work days being at home for the tech. I called the customer support 4 times now and they just want to reschedule the tech that never shows. Today on the phone I keep getting passed to the next person, which i have to start at the beginning and explain myself again. I'm now waiting for the 4th person to answer so i can explain my issue again. I dont know how to get my ac thats under warranty fixed.... Im spending the summer with a broken $600 unit. Any response from a Supervisor would be greatly appreciated.

Blows cold with a/c on and really warm with the heater option on. Love the energy efficiency option.

I bought this unit May 2018 for over $700 and it’s no longer blowing cold air. I was told that it will take a tech over a week to even come out and check it. It’s 100+ in Texas. Will never purchase this brand again.

Don't Let It Get Wet!

When it works it is GREAT! Powerful! Does the job. One small problem: When wind-driven rain hits it, apparently the controller board gets wet, and it gets LOCKED in whatever settings you had it set to. SO YES, if you had left it on during the rain, you can still use it by unplugging it to turn it off -- and then plugging it back in to turn it on ... but you get the idea -- PAINFUL! (Like you-all just couldn't have put a bead of Silicone around the joints?) [ Oh ... if you had it turned off during the rain -- you're in trouble -- because now it will be stuck in the off position.] I understand this is a discontinued model ... so the company does not stand behind this unit and is not making good on this design flaw (which is well documented elsewhere on the web). Conclusion: Not sure what to make of all this -- maybe all companies act this way nowadays. Just sad.
